Our students sculpture installed at new hospital
Our Yr7 and 8 ‘Arty People’ have been working with local artists, Juliet and Jamie Gutch, and Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to design a sculpture, ‘A Murmuring of Starlings’, which has just been installed in Cramlington’s new Emergency Care Centre which opens in June. Error#404 came to CLV to show our Yr7 and 8 students all about computer programming. The team put on an explosive show that with a little bit of programming and a Rasberry Pi, you can mimic a keyboard input with your tongue, use vegetables to trigger sound effects and text messages to light up a disco… Read more »
Project Fortnight
Our students are currently involved in Project Fortnight. Almost 1000 students from Years 7-9 engage in intensive 2 week projects in small groups. The outcomes are astonishing.
