We are pleased to inform you that the proposed development of Cramlington Learning Village has reached the stage of public consultation.
DPP planning have published a public consultation page to invite feedback. This includes an opportunity to discuss the proposals in school on Wednesday 6th November between 2pm and 7pm.The full scope of the project can be viewed here.
It is anticipated that a planning application will be made in the winter. If the plans are approved, work would start on site in summer 2025 and the new building would be due for completion in summer 2027.
The DfE have assigned Bowmer and Kirkland to the project and they have extensive experience of managing school construction sites. If the planning application is approved, we will be working closely with them to ensure safety and to minimise disruption to learning.
This is an exciting opportunity for the school and its community and we will keep you updated as we received more information.
