Our students are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results today. Wendy Heslop, Headteacher stated: ‘I would like to thank all the students and staff who have worked phenomenally hard over the last year. The commitment that they have shown bodes well for their own future and sets a fantastic example to those that follow as we look ahead to the new school year.’
58% of students achieved five or more A* to C grades including English and maths – up 5% on last year. ‘We are pleased we are moving in the right direction following disappointing results in 2014 and being placed in special measures by Ofsted.’
